ABOUT DICHROIC GLASS JEWELRY
Dichroic Glass, as its name implies, displays two different colors depending on whether the colors are being refracted or reflected. It is produced using a high-tech method originally developed by NASA engineers, by vaccuum-spraying micro-thin layers of metallic elements or oxides onto fusible glass. This results in a beautiful iridescent coating on the glass that shifts color depending on the angle of view. The stunning effects of dichroic glass have been used by glass artists all over the world for decades and are perfect for glass jewelry!
